I understand why people sell their stuff for sats but fuck that I like nice things ☺️ Like honestly how big does your stack need to be before you enjoy it a little? https://i.nostr.build/G1Qbtg04F2VJQAcE.jpg
Sell stuff at bottom. Buy stuff at top. Buy sats at bottom. Sell sats at top.
Easier said than done
Depends on what you want retirement to look like for you. Gotta do some math.

The ultra low time preference crowd underestimates the importance of enjoying life along the way. I once knew an older couple that had worked hard and saved their whole life, had a sizable nest egg built up and planned to travel the world in retirement. The wife had a stroke and had to live the rest of her life in a nursing home, died within a couple years. All the money they had saved went to cover her healthcare costs and the husband spent her last days visiting her in the nursing home. It was so sad. We should of course plan for the future, leave something for future generations if we can. But we also need to remember that nothing is guaranteed, and life is worth enjoying now.
it's not specific to bitcoin. money should not be the goal. it's a means to an end. find the things in life you truly value and pursue those things. those things bring real happiness. more money does not once you're able to meet basic necessities and have a little extra for the things you truly value.
Whatever you do, don't sacrifice all your time with your kids for money while they are young.
FED looking on fresh printed money devaluation
Because its for my children, great grandkids, and so on. One day when the world goes to hell, my desedents can afford to escape to the moon hehe. But in all seriousness, the time will come when my family will spend it. They will know when because it will be the only option that will save them
n+1. I can't help myself.
