I try to tell normies to regard bitcoin as a savings mechanism in the way that my family used to preserve their value and save in gold growing up in the Soviet Union each week.

Their communist currency was falling apart, so at the end of every week they would trade some of their wages in for scraps, and they loaded a suitcase full of gold before immigrating to the US and 75 and 79. 

Bitcoin is exactly the same thing, without the risk of lugging a suitcase, full of gold 

 I’m impressed they were able to leave with a suitcase full of gold! They were lucky 🙏🏽 

 Everyone who exited the USSR saved in gold. 

And then they risk everything carrying it with them…
