I know perfectly what you mean...but I am sad for the person that allowed it to happen. My friend still believes  that the ex is a good person. You can't take away a person from the illusion if they don't want to. It breaks my heart to see the confusion and pain.  

 I agree. And it will be painful. Hopefully they will see in time and let someone new in the lives with no care of what the ex thinks. 

 I hope also. I can only give my support. I was in this this place once, so I know that it doesn't matter what you say, until they are ready to admit that was all an illusion. It's very painful yes.
