if you live with smokers, then you have to tell them to move it out away from you, it's impossible to stop smoking in a smoky room when you are used to it for years, most people are reasonable, and will do it, those who do not, are a real problem in your life

 Sounds like willpower isn’t enough. You should investigate mescaline use with a clinical psychologist supervision. It will produce a feeling similar to a religious near-death experience.

 I quit smoking weed recently. 

I would have a few puffs throughout the day. Slowly tapered down to nothing nothing.

I had an epiphany recently as I am pretty serious about what I put in my body. there’s no reason to fast, eat well, take certain supplements for longevity etc if I was just destroying my lungs. 

Always remember we are as strong  as our weakest link.

Does this mean I cannot consume cannabis?  No, there are edibles, tinctures, transdermal patches, the list goes on as to methods of delivery. The same goes for various other substances.

Nicotine is your thing slowly change your delivery ?

If your thing is all Harder substance. I’m not sure. But you have support here fren. 
 I haven’t consumed anything even the other methods of delivery. 

It also helps to surround yourself with people who support you. And won’t allow you to fail while you’re with them, even if they smoke (which does make it more difficult) but not impossible

 If you haven’t tried it already, I found Nicotine patches very helpful. Not gum or lozenges (too easy to abuse), but the patches deliver a set amount of nicotine over 24 hours. Its not enough to feel the effects of the nicotine, but it’s enough to help curb the craving 
 Have you ever tried Wim Hof breathing? Do a couple rounds (takes a couple minutes) and then see if you still wanna smoke. 
Also good luck, you got this! Retraining neural pathways and physical dependencies can take time. 
 So that’s a trigger for you. What do you think you can do next time to alleviate the craving? Willpower alone isn’t enough.

 See it’s not easy. It sucks but I’m telling you, the gum was my savior. 
 Eat some shrooms and ask them to assist removing the excess nicotine receptors
