Because setting up a server isn't as easy as installing an app, pub makes server setup easy cheese.

Non-custodial mobile is a wasted channel, more pubs = family nodes... Not large custodians. 

 I’m quite skeptical that solution scales, but I’m really happy people are still trying to make it a reality, and if it does get big, I’ll be ecstatic!
