They are so dramatic
My cat was half nordic and I had her since 3 weeks of age. I nursed her and carried her in arms after each meal, she bathed with me and walked often on two, had terrible sense of humor, picked up phones meowing in them and talked back. Bloody awesome cat, I'd let her eat any book.

the emotions of pets are not that much like humans cats are like autists, and dogs are like sycophants i despise dogs, though i will treat them well and give them nice pats when they have been conditioned to behave well, otherwise i will hate them with every fibre of my being the only way i will accept a dog to live in my presence is if it's a necessary work animal like a shepherd or hunting dog, and i will intervene to make sure it learns not to slurp and suck up and screech as they instinctively do when they haven't got adequate attention in their facetime
Haha, it's so funny how real the divide between dog and cat people is. I like dogs, my name means dog. My pet peeve however is young people getting dogs instead of friends or dating. They are like having a child before marriage, and they are expensive. Dogs are good when you are established with a house, a relationship, have traveled everywhere you want to go However they are good personal security, So i can definitely see wanting a daughter to have a dog in college nowadays, but wow is it a lot of work.
