Eh, this is taken out of context. If you watch the video, he goes on to say those were days where Republicans fought for social change, and that’s why women can vote today.
 > During this event, Robinson, who was running for lieutenant governor at the time, recalled someone recently asking conservative activist Candace Owens to pick which version of America would make America “great again,” one where “Black people were swinging from cheap trees” or one where women weren’t allowed to vote.

> Robinson said he would definitely return to the days in America when women were denied the right to vote “because in those days we had people who fought for real social change, and they were called Republicans.”

I’m a bit disappointed that @rabble would bother reposting such a click bait headline … what’s the point exactly?
I agree the headline takes it out if context, but the article clarifies it. That said, there are folks who agree with the headline. nostr:note17quyustes2py36mhsw827qp29rm6ktghnjpjn95qzfadksas5ylsgnz753
You’ve got to know more if the labels are misleading so you can make a proper judgement.
 Indeed.
