Riding my Harley across the USA to over 30 Bitcoin meetups, I noticed a unique camaraderie among Bitcoiners.
What I saw overall saddened me: decaying small towns, frustrated people, misguided anger... From the ground, I saw my former home descending in to division.
Except at Bitcoin meetups.
Here I found diverse individuals civilly discussed critical topics—family, health, business, philosophy—across professions and political divides (imagine that...)
Lawyers speaking with construction workers, ranchers with technologists, Democrats with Republicans…
Bitcoin seemed to unite people under an umbrella of hope and pragmatism, in a time where these are rare in society. I see a deeply-held belief among Bitcoiners that individual responsibility and freedom lead to the best outcomes for society.
When that belief is shared, many of the topics that usually drive anger and division lose their teeth. Bitcoin meetup organizers deserve all the credit for creating spaces where this unity grows.
So after my tour ended, I had to figure out how to do my part…
I wanted to bring Bitcoiners together, and do it in a way that underpinned the ideas of sovereignty and freedom.
For me, travel brought sovereignty. I tasted a new sense of self-determination and purpose when I moved abroad to Chiang Mai, Thailand. I tasted a new sense of freedom when I started riding motorcycles.
So what better way to bond Bitcoiners than over a motorcycle trip?
Thus, the Ride of Passage was born.
But the Ride of Passage is far more than a motorcycle trip.
What is this Ride of Passage all about?
This is a tour money can’t buy. Not just because we venture to places no tourist goes, but because the entire experience is designed to bring about a change in each participant.
I want you to return home with more than just photos. I want you to return home with a piece of you changed, for the better. More free, more resolute, more sovereign.
The Ride of Passage is not a vacation. It is a challenge you take on knowing you will come out the other side a stronger and more open person.
And, by the way, you’ll experience this transformation through riding unforgettable mountain twisties, tasting incredible local food, and learning the untold histories hiding in the hills of Northern Thailand. Treated to the best hospitality available in the world.
Just ask @Tech Engineer who embarked on his dream of traveling the world after he took a Ride of Passage.
Who’s the Ride of Passage: Magical Thailand Tour for?
This Ride of Passage is for anyone in search of sovereignty; mainly Bitcoiners. This is an adventure for those who value freedom, seek deeper connections, and are drawn to the unknown. Limited to just 8 riders who will be personally vetted by me.
Still have questions? Feel free to ask me, or anyone who was on the first Ride of Passage, like Texas Slim.

Deconstruction is a component of reconstruction. It is difficult but it can be a revelation. Bless you and your ₿ journalism. Keep up the good work ♡
MAN! THAT'S AWESOME!
If I'm around Thailand aaaand... I get to do the work of learning how to ride motorcycles... I will def reach out.
BTW, both are on my plans... Just need to get time/money/courage to do them! =)))
This looks amazing man.
There's definitely something about motorcycles that appeals to Bitcoiners. The feeling of freedom you get, is my bet.
I can't imagine what it's like touring with a bunch of freedom loving Bitcoiners through Thailand.
I can tell you it's pretty frickin' fun!!
There's an amazing freedom that comes with riding a motorcycle and also a grave responsibility. Seems to me to match nicely to Bitcoin. Mistakes are costly but the reward of taking that responsibility is like no other.
One day I'll do something like this again. Road trips are maximum experiencial capital building adventures.
You have some great road trip stories
