My Bitcoin journey began in late 2021 after coming across a few intelligent Twitter accounts. I had been interested a few years earlier but never bought any and never understood the technology. When I came across some important tweets from Mike Alfred, Dennis Porter, Peter McCormack and Saifedean which spelled out why everybody should own Bitcoin I began to dig deeper. I came across additional educational literature regarding how Bitcoin works and what problems it solves. I began purchasing some Bitcoin from Coinbase and Cash App. The more I read, the more interested I became and the more my focus switched from investment opportunities to philosophical and freedom reasons. I began to learn about self-custody and purchased my first cold-storage wallet by the end of 2022. I typically bought some Bitcoin with every paycheck and even spent a decent share of my dollar savings to purchase Bitcoin. This year, I have continued to buy but at a little slower pace as I decided everything I bought in Bitcoin was never going to be touched (at least for the immediate future). I learned more about DCA and have slowly increased my stack.
My biggest regrets in Bitcoin are: 1. Not investing sooner. 2. Not understanding UTXO management at the beginning. 3. Not committing to obtaining Bitcoin in a non-KYC fashion.
I just purchased a Coldcard MK4 and I'm looking forward to moving my current funds from a less secure hardware wallet. Going forward, I will be buying additional wallets to split my Bitcoin between as well as using Conjoin and consolidating my small UTXOs.
Love this.

Incredible to hear how many routes it took to get us all here
