@69e241db Not unless it will be a configurable option, that’s up to the Mastodon devs and I don’t think it’s on their roadmap.

One could consider creating an account on https://calckey.world or other Firefish/Akkoma/Pleroma (etc) instances. They support higher character limits. You could use that for your longer posts.
