this election is revealing all the statists
I love this because 99% of people immediately thought "Jack must be talking about the other team"
The uniparty is the problem. We need to take back the country starting at the local level and repeal the 17th amendment.
Interesting to follow, I guess.
It's revealing that they are all statists
Can you have an election without statists?
I feel like every election does, to some degree.
Don’t you run a company that abides by all sorts of federal and state regulations?
yes. your point?
Isn’t that in a way feeding into the will of the state?
difference between following the law and wanting more law over you
a government registered corporation is really an appendage of the state... ultimately they can rug you, but just because you own and run one and have a stake doesn't make YOU an appendage of the state, except as far as the business of this corporation big money and registered companies put a bullseye on your back, but it's often required in order to do some things that require large amounts of money and coordination i wouldn't do it, but i also know from experience with registering and operating a corporation (in bulgaria) that there is a substantial exit penalty also
Yes, I agree 100%. I think it’s a similar dynamic with Trump voters in this election. He’s promising to do away with 75% of the Federal bureaucracy - the people who make arbitrary rules that hinder business development and stifle personal freedoms - which I think many of the people on this app like the idea of. Those types of voters seem less like statists and more like people who simply want less unelected bureaucrats ruling over them. My point was that I don’t think people are being statists by default if they support a particular candidate. I think they’re just doing what they can within the system to help enact the change they want to see beyond the system. In my mind, this is like your running Block while funding all sorts of incredible open-source projects.
- The man who deplatformed a president talking about statists 👀
think about that one a bit harder, anon, you’re almost there.
😂
🤣
I wouldn't about deplatforming any president. What was really bad was the censoring of so much valuable information about the "pandemic" that could have saved people's lives. It went even so far to delete posts about Vitamin D, Quercetin, the immune system, ... and lots more. Why was this done nostr:nprofile1qqsgydql3q4ka27d9wnlrmus4tvkrnc8ftc4h8h5fgyln54gl0a7dgspzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgqg5waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxgctdw4eju6t0qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyfehcpn?

Who will you be voting for if you don’t mind me asking?
I believe we will reach a day where people will realize that it was never about the State in itself but much more about mechanisms that control or define that state. In other words I say this because there's seems to always be a need for a source of truth. We can call it anything but this need seems to be pretty much inevitable. Accounting (a source of truth) basically started civilization in Mesopotamia. We need a (several) source of truth. Bitcoin is clearly one very good source of truth, as we know. The nation states were an original version of the source of truth. The real question in my view is HOW does that source of truth will look like in the future for different fields, including the nation state and politics. I think Switzerland shows a good example for the current nation state model (because of their referendum models, etc) can look like. In other words I do think that in the next 50 years, new nation states models will be created/adapted and that the Swiss model could be a good idea in that sense. But who knows, maybe the nation state will be completely abolished very quickly. I mean we are truly at that stage already, on an individual level any individual can in theory live stateless. Everybody will be right. In the end, the medium is the message. We just have to build, to collaborate, in anything. Regardless of what it is. It's going to be fine. :)
Switzerland is also a failed state. Those who control the money and the media will always control the state. The state is never a source of truth. But a source of propaganda for certain interests. It can not be any other way. Does that mean we should give up states? No. It's always better to know the devil. Future problems will be so different from what people in this very moment assume to be the fight or struggle against authority anyways. The state and the Fed are already rendered irrelevant.
Sadly most people are Statists. Either to punish the other side or in fear of what the other side will do to them. The result is the same; an inexorable downward spiral for all.
Any system which only permits you to choose between evils is itself evil. I think democratic systems should have mandatory voting for eligible voters, but it be required that "None Of The Above" be listed as an option on every ballot and if that option has the majority or plurality of votes then another election with other candidates be held. There should also be easy access for recalls and referenda on the ballot.
You meant selection right Jack?
