@957492b3 WiFi uses less power and generally has lower latency, so I prefer it over mobile data. Coffee shops can also have areas with poor cell reception where a WiFi router can extend to. As for coffee shop camping, not sure if it'll change any time soon. Some people just want to get out of their rooms and go anywhere and be among people, even if they remain glued to their laptop/phone.
@e9777705 Yeah, you're not the only one that said this. My point was a bit bigger more like: How will companies change when we don't need them for wifi as much? (clearly there will always be dead spots, but for example, it may get to the point that I get a sim card in my laptop and just not care about wifi 95% of the time.
