 If bitcoin in the U.S. consciousness becomes just digital gold/asset/treasury tool and partisan (Trump), that is so boring and bearish to me personally. 

Really hope those fears are mitigated and taken seriously by everyone.

 Yup. This is why I'm bearish on both Trump and the ETFs. The best case scenario is that it gets co-opted… And "crypto" people will happily go along with it because NGU.

 Bitcoin is a multifaceted tool that operates for different people around the world in different ways. for some people it will be a medium of exchange, for some it will be a gold replacement/store of value. 

Over a long enough time horizon I believe what bitcoin really is will become more obvious to people; and thus, people's perspective will change.

 Whereas I share your concerns I hope that newcomers will remain here by diving into the rabbit hole and that they’ll learn it’s so much more than just an asset.
