Day 4 carnivore complete. Yesterday I had a major dip in energy in the afternoon despite not being too hungry. I had a bit more food (stopped one meal a day) and felt much better. Good tasted a bit better.
 Are you using fast salts?
Not sure what you mean. Im using a sea salt that has magnesium, potassium and calcium
That's what I'm talking about, I think your body is just adjusting to the new ways life, it will pass in a week or two
First week will suck. Stick with it.
If you're dragging ass on a carb free diet you're not consuming enough saturated animal fats.
Very fatty meat. Any fatter and I’ll vomit 😂
Need at least a thousand calories a day from fat if you're not eating carbs. Butter or heavy cream if you do coffee in the morning really helps. And just butter on everything.
 That’s what I’ve been doing
Could be electrolyte issues or bile production not in full swing yet.
Guess what I ate again lol

 😣
That's the carbs finally leaving your body. It takes a few days. A lot of the weight you lose right off the bat is the extra water your gut needs to process carbs. This is why fiber (what retains the water) is so important in carby diets, but not at all in no-carb diets. You'll also notice needing to use the restroom less frequently. This is just your gut needing lower mass flow for the same nutritional value.
I suggest a tablespoon of honey for electrolytes and energy, but I also usually say cut out coffee - clean water, earth salt and grass-fed beef. Organs (especially liver) can be jolting if you’re not used to the rush. Start slow and listen to your body!
Agree with the comments below: The low energy is common as the body switches from burning sugar to fat. It will pass in a day or so more. You are doing great! 💪
 oh me too
day 4 carnivore complete
 Keep going 🙏🙏
 YMMV

If this is your first transition into ketotic states then expect a long tail transition.

Some don't become keto adapted for years. Which isn't a reason to stop.

Exogenous ketones like Ketone IQ can help a lot. Electrolyte mixes like Dr Berg's are really good. Protein and fat digestive enzymes will accelerate keto-adaptation.

Also fasting and carnivore aren't the same thing - it may help to eat 3 times a day. Or not.
