where do you live? im from Montana, but now live in SW OR and was thinking about growing these...wondering if it is worth a try

They are a pain to try to grow. Basically you need high organic, but poor soil conditions. Think recently cleared forest. They are abundant along the coastal forest all the way down to California I believe.
