They can't enforce a ban on knowledge. 'owning' Bitcoin is having the knowledge of a private key. If you know a particular 12 word sequence, how do they prove it, and how do they seize it if you do not consent?

Yes, torture is a way to obtain consent. But torture is messy and unpleasant business. No one is going to exert that level of effort unless they are sure of the outcome. So store it in your head and keep your mouth shut.
