"The staffing shortage also affected the city’s highly respected sexual health clinics and tuberculosis clinics. They have not fully reopened since closing at the height of the pandemic, even as sexually transmitted infections are rising and there are growing concerns about tuberculosis." @3967703f the change has really been palpable. DeBlasio was ridiculous but Adams has been a disaster.
@3967703f I had to take a deep breath and count to 10 to be able to finish the article after this nonsense: “the city’s economy is still hampered by the work-from-home trend.” Maybe convert some of those overly-priced offices that nobody wants to rush back to into something good, geniuses. And LOL at it being a “trend.” So tired.
@3967703f As long as they hire "Executives" for the head of the executive branch, they will continue to get the ignorance, con, let someone else do it, and everything else that comes with 90% of CEOs. Get someone who loves working with people, wants to solve the tough problems, and is willing to work for a reasonable wage and live in a nice house, but not a mansion. Preaching to the pulpit here, I know, but it's just so frustrating.
