Very weak argument because you could just say the same thing of Bitcoin. But unlike Bitcoin, Monero is literally untraceable if you are only gathering information solely off the blockchain: 1) There is no transaction graph or receivers visible thanks to Stealth Addresses (no connections of senders and receivers) 2) There are no amounts visible thanks to Confidential Transactions 3) And IP address is obfuscated by default even if you aren't behind Tor thanks to Dandelion++ Any outside/offchain mistakes/data used to find users is moot in this case because that would apply tenfold to any other crypto and has nothing to do with Monero itself.

I don't transact on nostr, I use Monero peer2peer, I would never want to leave traces behind that I've ever transacted with someone. wanting to give others zaps to see big numbers is like redditor mindset of wanting upvotes. Nostr has no real anarchists, you should #readdread instead to find people activelly avoiding the government

Cool, Bitcoin is still a speck compared to USD global adoption. I don't think mass appeal in this moment of time is what makes Bitcoin unique. It has more important properties like p2p, permissionlessness, and self custody. These are the things that make it special and without them it is another paypal. To be fair you keep talking about Monero too so... Nostr protocol is agnostic and has nothing to do with Bitcoin. Maybe you mean these particular clients.
