JUST IN: If you are a 🇺🇸 US Citizen or
Resident, you are not allowed to download Wasabi Wallet or use the Wasabi Wallet coinjoin feature 😮

This includes if you are a U.S. permanent resident or if you are an individual that holds a U.S. passport. https://image.nostr.build/5f2c74fc92cd3f881ef55f6eff8d728d137e76d2ee2d09ea3b59363896aff87b.jpg
 😮
 Americans should use Joinmarket.
Americans should use Monero and so should everybody else because America is the first to do this but it will not be the last
 Monero is a useless shitcoin.
maybe you don't have no use for it. others might.
The network has some huge technical and economic problems.

If someone wants to use it have fun, it’s just my opinion
And Bitcoins expensive NFT-ridden surveillance chain doesn't? 😂

🤡
why do you think DNMs all use monero, some don't use bitcoin at all, and none of them use lightning? technical and economic problems. if it was a useless shitcoin we wouldn't see DNMs getting it to work for electronic commerce for several years in a row. bitcoin maxis never have an answer for this.
We have seen people who used Google+ and it has disappeared.

Just because some people use it doesn’t mean it will stay or that it is valuable for the majority of people.

Look at the Networks hashrate for example and you will see a dying network
"Just because some people use it doesn’t mean it will stay or that it is valuable for the majority of people."

You're too smooth to realize this can also be used as an argument against Bitcoin

Raw hashrate means nothing when compared directly. They use two different PoW algos.
listen, I remain totally unconvinced that monero is inadequate for building electronic commerce to trade physical goods, or that any bitcoin developer has a suitable replacement, specifically because of the behaviors of DNM admins. they have the capacity to build functioning electronic commerce platforms from scratch. but also, if any of it breaks they risk going to prison forever or maybe even execution. this is the most intense litmus test that we can observe anywhere in the world. bitcoin is failing the test. nobody finds himself saying "if I make the wrong choice I may be killed" and then picks bitcoin.
 💯

Monero is one of the most adversarial minded cryptos out there right now. Hands down. Modern Bitcoiners make too many comfy assumptions that rely on best case outcomes. It needs to roll with the punches and adapt. Imagine Bitcoin having basically the same protocol in another 15 years in this hostile environment and still being around...I can't unless it is in a completely captured form

Current events should've snapped them out of it. Can't fuck around anymore.

If other countries were smart, they’ll figure how to get us to feel save and secure moving to their nation with our BTC.
About the only problem with that is that when you cross the border from your country to theirs, your previous ex-government is going to hassle you for your Bitcoin. So I would not carry it in Bitcoin. If I were going to do that, I would put it in Monero.
Still works with VPN, but wow…
War on your financial privacy for sure..
So would I be a criminal if I used them?

If you stash non-KYC bitcoin, then I suppose so
I have some non-kyc US fiat, criminal?
Not if you've paid taxes on it
we're all criminals. they just havent written the laws yet. just do morally right things
I encourage you being that criminal!
Wait, I thought they have already a OFAC filter in place? 🤔

 Just use VPN, people

Unless you space out transactions randomly, this actually does not help very much.
I assume people wouldn’t swap back the same amount in a single transaction. Especially shortly after swapping to Monero. Is this what you’re referring to?
If you swap a very similar amount and or swap amounts really quickly from say Bitcoin into Monero and then back to Bitcoin within a short amount of time, it's easy to figure that out.
