@f43a2aa2 Dude I was way into chess in my 20s. My bff at the time was very competitive and we were constantly having to improve to keep up. I actually do own a dummies book and read it. I read too much. We'd learn a new tactic and win until the other figured out a defense. I got burnt out. That's the most chess I've played in 15 years probably
@440af60e I got the dummies book to read while I was waiting 🤣 it’s confirmed my belief that I’ll never spend the time studying the theory it’d take to be a master and am satisfied being mediocre, if that. I can destroy my children and that’s what really matters. https://static.noagendasocial.com/media_attachments/files/111/176/691/124/994/555/original/e3f3e76eae8441f3.jpeg
@f43a2aa2 🤣🤣🤣 despite the name it's got useful stuff
@440af60e I’m a fan of the dummies/idiots/everything about books, even the ones filled with pseudoscience. https://static.noagendasocial.com/media_attachments/files/111/183/229/996/625/905/original/15f0d1ed24a495b0.jpeg
