Ownership of a house in the right spot is only slightly better than being a vagabond at the whim of landlords, rent spikes, and politics during the ordeal climate change will put us through.

But yes. Home ownership is playing Russian roulette. A change in the wind, the sea levels, drought issues, water scarcity, etc. can make your house your biggest downfall.
