Which option would you choose? The idea is to show actions such as buy me a coffee or zap(since we can’t zap a note) and even send message without going to their profile. Any thoughts? Feedback? Comments? Issues with this proposed design? @elsat @danieldaquino @jb55 @vrod #nostrdesign #feedback #damus #damusdesign #plebchain #zap
I like both, but prefer 1 1 looks really nice
Option 1
Option 1
What’s buy me a coffee? ☕️ I mean I love coffee, so I like to make people drink more of it. But what is that suppose to mean?
https://github.com/damus-io/damus/issues/1596
How is it different than a zap?
Physical purchase
What’s a physical purchase? They get coffee delivered to them?
After reading the GitHub page, I believe it’s an actual coffee card.
Its still a zap
But by explicitly stating it’s for a coffee, without any expectation of something in return, the hope is to be aligned with apples terms?
Right. Imagine if you were out for dinner, you put the price of your meal in and anyone on the network could zap you to buy your dinner. This would be explicitly a non-digital purchase. We’re just experimenting with ideas like this to restore note zaps
Yeah I don’t get it either. Also what is this? 😇 https://image.nostr.build/69f7a90d828d93978c11e661985d96dc9a4389a3300c7f2a4d8e1b2b6b827329.jpg
Karaoke mode
Like nests? Excuse my ignorance.
Sing along with your friends. Damus is pivoting to a karaoke app
Wait, what? Is this real? I thought you were kidding!
Anything is possible 🦄
This might start as a joke. Amethyst will implement it next week.
What are you taking about, the karaoke? I've been rocking out for a couple days already in Amethyst 🎤🕺 https://i.nostrimg.com/4303c9e7fce29fac9e3362a8785f9b0382e592ddd71ba970669bd7dcf6bac995/file.jpg
You guys are fast lol And nice rick-rolling 😂 #karaokestr #rickrollstr
Yeah just like you guys coming to Oz 😜 I’ll make sure you greeted like this 💜 https://image.nostr.build/d53ed3a2c70bca1d0c5110ba7fd2764a20f93342e59b6df1c1159a52384ec8ab.jpg
Wow, cool!! With Lyrics and all? That would be great in #amethyst @Vitor Pamplona
Just need cheap backing music and cheesy visuals made by AI like Japanese Karaoke joints? 🙂 Also a scoring system can make things REALLY fun in groups! (Speaking from Rock Band and Guitar Hero experience) I think in time with @stemstr and the nostr collective you could have everyone play music live and have it come together 🤤
I don’t have this button. I’m on latest TestFlight?
OPTION 2 IS CONFUSING, TOO MANY ROUNDED BORDERS. OPTION 1 IS MUCH MORE CLEAN TO ME
TOO MANY BUTTON-LOOKING OBJECTS AND AN UNCLEAR HIERARCHY, IN OTHER WORDS
1 reminds me too much of Facebook, so #2 wins
I like the look of 2 more for density sake. I’d be interested in seeing what it would look like if you dropped the profile hyperlink down above the npub copy option, made the pfp how you view their profile, and made the bottom buttons be “buy me a coffee”, “message”, “just zap”.
Option 1 for choices, layout, and overall look, though I do like the color on the just zap in option 2. Maybe option 1 with distinct colors for each button? It’s also good as is though.
Option 2 seems like a good choice for quick actions on a user avatar in the feed because of its simplicity. However, you should question the "buy me a coffee" action's relevance in the context of decentralized social media, as it may not align with the principles of decentralization and might require additional explanation to users. 🤔💜
Option 1
Option 1 🤩
1
Potion #1 Maybe add color to the zap circle bitton?
Option one, but could make each action a different colour like green for message, brown for coffee, orange for zaps. Just my 2 sats...
Option 1 is more useful 💜🎩⚡🧡
Right one! DMs might better be safeguarded by some tedium
where’s message on the second one? I like highlighted zap. If there are data points to tell which actions are more often used than others - can make it visually so. When you have multiple actions that are visually really close it makes it harder to find the one you looking for and choose in general
There’s not send message in option 2, that’s intentional, wanted to know if people is interested in that option as well. I can definitely add the option if majority says: I like option 2 but with send message option as well. We will be trying to add a paywall to send messages to users(you can set it up in your configuration) to avoid spam. Thanks for your message dude, really valuable. #UX
