the miscalculation they are making is that their actions have literally caused some of us, like you and like me, who have somehow managed to escape death, by our own survival instinct and intelligence, and when someone has made a mortal threat against you, you just can't forget that

it's literally like that, i have a vendetta that will be with me until the day i die and i don't give a fuck what other people think about my ranting because i rant beacuse they tried to kill me, several times now, and i'm still hear and i am not ever gonna forget it because to date, this has cost me being able to have a family, and as a man that is worse even than threatening my life 

 I feel this so deeply. They miscalculated. You are not alone. We are grouping up at the schelling point that is freedom tech, and we are going to fight this dystopia head on.

 it's a funny thing too... in my work, also, there is a sense of "this may not be big money in the short term but it matters in the long term", and i spend a lot of mental energy on trying to find ways to make that medium term adequate, that's why i rant so much about NIP-42!!!!

we don't have to beat fartcaster or threads or any of those other things, discord, reddit, etc... we just have to hold our own, like the giant rocks of this island, long enough that those flashes in the pan are already forgotten again

 this is inherent in the nature of insurance and when that combines with health it's a pretty disgusting combination

insurance is a scam anyway, you wouldn't need it if you could save

and they then went and extended that to create the welfare system, which was initially sold as a "social insurance" and now oh look it turns out that means that now they want to legalise euthanasia in a bunch of countries to cut the public health bill

really, they just want to kill us, and this is the long winded, tricky mechanism they are using and in addition to the thing itself, they then twist it up to make it seem like there is some kind of debate about whether it's just a mechanism for genocide, with their shills selling this welfare scam as though it's protecting the weak, so everyone else better keep on stumping up more and more costs to fund this
