I can understand Exo’s fixation with them. They’re the reapers of the insect world.

 There’s a certain kind of purity with being upset over an insect such as that dying. It takes something soulful.

 Why? It’s nature. It’s not like they caused this event to happen, and whether or not they were filming it has no bearing on the fact that it was going to happen. It happens every day.

I don’t think it’s cruel, I think there’s a respect you can glean from nature over this encounter, how everything in nature fits together to make moments like these where an insect can pull a flighty bird like a hummingbird from thin air and start snacking on it.

Do I like what happened? No. Do I have respect for what’s taken place? Yes. It’s morbid and a little disturbing but it’s nature.

here, a fresh clip straight off the presses. this is genuinely my favorite fight so far in the show, might even be an all-timer unless the finale tops it. i do lol at their attempt at having the mantis open the cell door at the start.
