 I'd like to think that's true but beyond what's possible for small communities, it seems the first agricultural societies were likely under the authoritarian rule of a clique that had control over water/irrigation access and defended against invasions. 
 Even the authoritarian dictators and their serfs are subject to the capitalism. Everyone always is. 

I'd like to think it's working more on a physics level; unlike the other isms. Like gravitation, you can try to defy the capitalistic powers by utilizing/burning energy (enforcing rules) but it doesn't take the natural forces away.
