 Also they may be confusing relays blocking notes older than a certain timestamp (as you get with backup rebroadcasts) vs actual rate limiting. 
 I think both thing happens, and what you just mention is may be the main reason. So nostryfied shows how many events you were able to broadcast & majority of relay just stop taking events after sometime. 
 What is the basic rate limit for relays? Will they block approximately 30 MB per user broadcasted in 5 seconds? We've tried various approaches, and Vitor even rewrote it, but it still gets blocked. 

You can even see how many events you got from a particular relay and how many events your able to broadcast. Even though you don't have any events in that relay they will just block it after certain limit.

It may also be related to a timestamp issue. Because it price to broadcast all the events

 Strfry doesn’t have any out of the box rate limits so very hard to say. Rate limits imposed at the relay level will probably be events per pubkey/IP over a time period, not by data use.
