Me too!  How are you?
 @51fb1883

We are having a stretch of lovely weather. We were able to open doors and windows yesterday as the temperature was in the low 70F range. Not too cold and not too hot. I love this weather and wish we could have it all year.
 @754d2f63
I agree. Fall is my favorite time of year. If it could be 72-75F all the time I would very happy.
 @51fb1883

I prefer spring because of all the flowering trees. But this fall weather is my second choice.
I wish there were a place where this sort of weather was normal year-round.
 @754d2f63
Honestly, if I discover such a place, I'll let you know. I've given it a lot of thought and haven't come up with anything yet.
 @51fb1883

We're in mid-Atlantic, inland, because it's about as close we can get. A little snow, a lot of hot and humid, a lot of rain and plenty of lovely weather.

My Boston cousin spends a month in Sedona each winter and I'm tempted to do something similar after we both retire. Mountains in the summer and a warm place in the winter would be perfect.

Come on, lottery!

That sounds like a good plan. We live about 15 minutes from the beach, but not in an area prone to flooding.

We haven’t had snow for the last 3 years. The summer heat /humidity can get oppressive but as long as the power grid holds it’s OK. All things considered it’s a good location. So far.
 @51fb1883

Would your main concern be hurricanes?
 @754d2f63
Yes, because of the potential damage from wind. We live surrounded by trees. Bad nor'easters are a threat as well.

Our house sits high enough that it would take a LOT of rain to flood us, although we could be cut off from major roads I suppose.

It's hard to feel "weather secure" anywhere anymore.
 @51fb1883

You are so right about nowhere being weather secure! There is also fire risk everywhere.
 @754d2f63
Yes, you’re right about the fire danger. I’d forgotten about that.
 @754d2f63 @51fb1883 Sedona is a lovely place

I've heard that. I wonder what it was like this summer.
