 What do you think? nostr:note1w2k2u4lpugupaa9u424k8rgmepucmplfrukw3aajg5l3n000swnsgy4s2g
“Nostr is the new everything app”
Protocol, but doesn’t sound as sketchy
Catchy . Damn. I’m going to bed now. 😂
Even you fall asleep when mentioning protocol 😂
 😂 😂 😿
I have to admit that the ecosystem here is very hard to grasp, it feels like a free for all with a few users and general low interaction.
I guess I am still figuring out what to expect, I developed an app on nostr and basically trying frantically to get some feedback from anybody and even after contacting quite a number of people I only got one reaction. I totally get it that nobody needs to give a shit and I usually don’t like being contacted myself, but I don‘t even know if I was able to reach anybody or my message just vanished in the abyss.
Did you make that RSVP app ?
Yes, and you were my reaction 🫶
It looks cool. You got skills, I'm just not your audience I guess for the purpose of the app. I don't know what I would use it for. I'll post it asking what ppl think, I'll try to tag you but I don't know how. Maybe we'll get more responses
Wow, THANK you for the outreach! I really appreciate it! 🙏
Really? Why do you feel that way? What do you like? What do you respond to?

I have a list of cryptocurrency and political words I put in my hidden word filter to get rid of the Bitcoin. Which I'm surprised it took most of the Bitcoin away.

I can send that to you if you want so you can see more posts that aren't dominated by Bitcoin
Why is a good question, I am still in observation mode. When you join an active discord community there is always a bunch of people interacting about a topic, if you interact with the topic as well, you usually get feedback and are welcome to join. I probably don’t follow the right people here yet or get a grip of topics that are floating around, but I am curious to learn more
You'll get it. you Can join the communities here if you want
How do you join communities? I am on Damus and I just follow a subset of people.
 It makes sense
Bitcoin may be the biggest community on nostr but it’s not the only community. Any group who wants the ability to interact with each other without the fear of censorship will eventually migrate here.

The need for that seems virtually endless.
Yeah I would say leave the storytelling to the people who build product and devlop *user stories* and the UX people, who, if they correctly identify what problem they solve, will flow from there.

Nostr is a protocol, not an app, and therefore should be sold to devs in the same way a framework would sell itself. You won't get any mainstream products selling Bitcoin and NFTs. People are burned out on that (thanks bros, no, really, thanks).
Protocols don't necessarily need a story, they just need to work and be easy to build on. Those that build experiences on top of it are the storytellers :-)

But, you need to focus on benefit for the user, not the people who made it. You're either fixing the Internet, which everyone agrees is broken, or you are not at this point. So "Nostr: What do you have to lose" (joke).

Nar, seriously, sell to devs on the tech - not story - leave the story to the product managers and marketers of the products built on top of it. Look at other frameworks and how they sell themselves. They don't tell a story, outside of being open, easy, and complex... that solves problems.
