I love Nostr too. I agree there should be some more work on bringing new audience here. I have some ideas about it,and when I was in Toronto some friends and I were working on purple pilling people and bringing new people to Nostr. We had some meetings too. However, even though it’s a new protocol it has already achieved some relevance, therefore I think Nostr has a big potential once it achieves more people. The trick is to show how nostr differs from other ways to connect to people and how important it is to have a censorship resistance mechanism to provide free speech to everyone. People still don’t understand how harmful it is to be part of platforms that bans their content and opinions just because they dared to think differently. People seem to be unaware of how totalitarianism is dangerous and that it always starts by forbidding them of expressing their thoughts.
Yep. I think it’s not an issue for a lot of people so they don’t see it as a selling point. But when they need it, we’ll be here ;)
