Is the soaking in milk the trick? I want to like liver, but haven’t gotten there yet
Yes, it's a traditional way to prepare it that I recently found out! It makes the taste closer to chicken liver, which I've always loved with onions.
What’s the sour milk do to the liver?
It doesn't have to be sour, I've done it with regular milk too! I just needed another good use for my sour milk other than yogurt. But the milk draws out the strong taste of beef liver and makes it more like the mild taste of chicken liver! Only way I'll eat it 🤣
