Ok folks… I have an announcement to make. I have reached the stage in my life where I am procuring the hardware to make my own SDL setup. Will be good use for the RPi 4 I have had laying around. I ordered a starter kit with the usb dongle and antennas. Not 100% sure why I need this, but I had a shortwave radio as a kid and loved listening to all the weird shit I’d come across. It was like listening to aliens. I want to relive that. And hear numbers stations. Ok, that is all. Carrion.
@344b0ae6 rtl-sdr? You’ll find it kinda broad… give SDRPlay rpi image and an MSI SDR… they do a good job on hf
@344b0ae6 I recommend a Flirc case. It's a little aluminum box that acts like a big heatsink. Unless you're overclocking quite a bit, it's enough cooling.
