Ya, great point. it requires work to create the feed you want to see. That is hard to do unless you are ready to deal with some growing pains ( was hard for me...still is).

Same. I noticed that the more I engage and create connections along with following people that I choose to follow that the overall engagement on this platform is getting better every day. Like I stated above, I feel like you get out of it on what you put in. Engagement on here is far superior to Twitter.
Agreed, because this is not algorithm based it is user-based. So we are. I feel at the mercy of who we choose to follow. It's really taking it back to the basics. But I love noster so much more than Twitter or now X because there was nothing but bots on there and engagement was horrendous people actually communicate on here.

Its interesting im having this thought. About a year ago some of my friends were willing to try mastadon which has a much worse discovery problem. They were willing though because news outlets, social media influencers cited it as a twitter alternative ( thats my guess). Nothing came of it cuz mastadon is horrible to actually use, but none of those same people have been willing to try nostr. No other insight just coming to mind.
