It's so easy to Zap, and people really appreciate receiving them almost as much as people enjoy zapping them.
Especially for the everyday person broadcasting a message for all to enjoy. They are not trying to keep food on the table with their content, but with Zaps, they definitely feel the love and are more willing to spread it, because even though it may average out to only 1 penny, It feels like more and it feels genuine.
I would agree that due to the affinity, #zaps are way better.

My question and I suppose challenge to all of us is:

At what point are we ok with giving away (for value created) one cent

but we aren’t willing to bend over and pick up one cent (that then could further be converted to sats and placed into the bitcoin economy)?

It seems to me there is a potential misalignment with our espoused values vs behavior.

🤷‍♂️
Every Sat matters. That is interesting to think about. How amazing is Bitcoin, that it gets people to pick up pennies on the sidewalk. I have to admit, I have not thought of sidewalk pennies as SATs, but I am still in the process of deconstructing my wasteful Fiat mindset. Thank you for this thought nugget.
 You are welcome.
Hopefully it can help us all.

It wasn’t directed at you specifically 😀

Even though I don’t love fiat, most USD coins have “In God We Trust” stamped on them.

Whenever I’d see a coin on the ground I’d pick up my “In God We Trust” token as a reminder of how much He cares for us
