There is a plant called mucura that can help cleanse energy around drinking. (The root)

AA has been one of the best tools I’ve used as well. A lot of ppl have figured it out in there. Proof of work + osmosis of group. Haven’t had a drink in almost a decade.

Try to replace with healthy habits. Over time will be able to get to root cause. Hardest in beginning. Sweet & salty snacks help. Like fruit. Take probiotics as well. Sometimes the gut is part of craving process. Keep going!
yeah, in the process of the development of this problem my kidneys have taken a lot of damage, and are now at a point where i was in chronic dehydration and potassium deficiency

my life is unbearable now without drinking like 3L of water a day and about a teaspoon each of potassium chloride and sea salt

if i wasn't taking all these diuretics i wouldn't be getting the cramps, my kidneys would recover, and probably i'd also be able to function better in general because the potassium problem completely destroyed my muscle strength

i always used to have quite intense endurance for walking (like, at times 50km/day) and only about 2 years ago stopped being able to touch my toes

i need all that back, really badly

so, probably the good habits are reading the bible and doing exercise and taking long walks
 plus one for AA.

In my experience, it came back to a sugar imbalance. In the short term, replacing alcohol with sweets helped, but in the long term, I had to just quit ingesting refined sugars and sweet foods.
