I'm a similar age to you & quit a programming job/career in my 20s
I had the Bach degree & the job but I left it to pursue something more suited to my skillset & abilities. I was a slow programmer & had a very fixed mindset at the time. With hindsight I could have pursued it, worked hard & succeeded, but my heart wasn't in it.
It's a very competitive industry that's constantly changing & evolving.
I've no regrets except the wasted University time & money.
So what did you pursue instead?
Software support & training initially & then I branched out into soft skills & sales training.
