Good thoughts. #Reticulum is good for this too. Especially #reticulum using #lxmf, which is extremely delay tolerant and can even be carried from place to place in a device ("sneakernet"). Satellite operators will shut you down on request from your government if your government has at least neutral relations with the satellite operator's government. I'm not too hopeful there. Ham (HF) requires no infrastructure and is cheap, but is straightforward to jam and even easier to locate. IMO wifi mesh plus sneakernet is the only safe enough physical layer, with meshtastic or reticulum + lxmf on top
Interesting. Thanks for informing me of these. I'll check them out. I'm considering building a nostr client with resources of how to use it in case of internet lock out & such. Btw. maybe nostr people funds a satellite one day and provide connectivity by our own xD That's only like a Billion dollars away from being possible x)
