 31 days no alcohol.
 A+
 Great job! 🤙
 Amateur. Kidding. Good job.
 I'll pray for you Jack.
 Did it hurt?
 When you fell from heaven?
3.5 years here. It’s such a game changer
 Congrats, Jack. PV!
 Bravo! Feels amazing 💫
 Nice 👏
Nice job dude, proud of you 🫂
 Wonderful!!! Keep it up ser!!!
 3 years no alcohol.
6 years reporting for duty 🫂
 Hell yea dog!
I actually stopped smoking weed too- sometimes I get small urges to 'relax' when I get stressed out, but I just stay strong and resist. It's been about one month now.
I think imma quit that for good. It feels good to be sober.
 Same 🤝
The best is when you get used to turning drinks down when you have no desire to drink.
This is a skill I'm still learning. I have some very persistent friends who drink every time we catch up. 🙄
Keep it up, jack!! 🎉Especially with Grammy/SB/Oscar season nearing; let em have at. Genuine respect for this! 🫱🏽‍🫲🏻
 💜🔥
 👏
wow, congrats man. anybthoughts and/or insights so far?
Yes it is really bad for liver.

Alcohol is the enemy of awareness. Also. I know that Jack is huge fan of meditation and meditation is done with the sole objective of increasing the awareness
 - alcohol-free beer is your friend
- alcohol-free gin is a scam
- being out with friends becomes a lot more about the conversations you'll have
- everyone turns stupid at around 11pm
- you're always happy about your choices when you wake up the next day
 FACTS
Coming up to a year without booze in April. When I'm out with friends I'm usually done by about 930-10pm. Previously I would have just stayed out drinking until the bar shut
 - alcohol-free beer is your friend

I love Weissbier, I doubt I can find an alcohol free one :(

> - alcohol-free gin is a scam

I think 8 out of 10 people are unable to distinguish whether they are being served an alcohol-free cocktail
 > I doubt I can find an alcohol free one

I have very good news for you.
 Received, thanks 🤟
Ok, we just bonded. I fucking love Weissbier! Erdinger, Weihenstephaner, Paulaner, the Germans sure do know how to quench their thirst.

I'm not drinking now though because of the gout.
alcohol free beer is just fizzy malt drink, they call it kvass in eastern europe

yes, they have alcohol free fizzy malt drink in eastern europe... long before you loonies in the west
Hi, I am among the unfortunate victims of the FTX scam, a situation that has resulted in the loss of my entire savings, totaling around $20,000.

The distressing aspect of this ordeal is not just the financial loss but the subsequent actions taken by SBF and Sullivan & Cromwell, the involved debtors. Following the success of their global heist, it appears that, rather than working towards justice for the affected customers, they are prioritizing their own interests, demonstrating a complete disregard for the well-being of those who have suffered.

To witness such blatant exploitation of innocent people for personal gain is not only disheartening but also raises concerns about the moral and ethical compass of those involved. Their actions can only be described as mentally and spiritually sick, going beyond mere financial misconduct.

The significance of this situation cannot be overstated for me, as the funds lost were an integral part of my financial stability. I am reaching out to you with the hope that you might consider extending a helping hand during this challenging time. Any assistance or guidance you could provide to navigate through the complexities of this situation would be immensely appreciated.

I believe in the power of collective compassion and the willingness of individuals to make a difference in the lives of those facing adversity. I understand that you may have your own commitments and limitations, but even the smallest gesture can have a meaningful impact.

Thank you for taking the time to read my plea, and I sincerely hope that you may find it in your heart to offer assistance during this trying period. Your kindness will not be forgotten, and I am immensely grateful for any support you can provide.

I remember when I was little seeing video of Bruce Lee playing ping pong with nunchucks, I saw the Shaolin monks run barefoot on the tips of swords.
Been no booze only herb and great diet for prolly 9 years now. New meaning to firing on all cylinders brother 🙏
If it makes you happy 😊
 💜🫂
 one year no beer?
 congratulations, feels good right?!
 me 2!
Another Dry January in the books.
Your willpower can bring any success you want
40 here, got a head start
 Proud of ya!! Let’s rumble!!
 let’s drink to that 🧋
 same here.
keep it going. it’s worth it. i drink rarely, if ever, and it feels great.
10 years no drank, one of the best decisions I have ever made!
 Respect sir 🫡
I’m on 8 months. I think I’ll go a full year. I began to notice a change in my brain state around the 3 month mark. Noticeably less everyday anxiety. Higher clarity of thought. More presence in the moment etc… I may never return to drinking.
I once heard that you have to be about 6 weeks alcohol free before your liver starts healing itself. I was trying to go 6 months alongside full carnivore. But I still cheat on both every now and again. Perhaps after a birthday party in a few weeks I'll swear off it until June. Maybe if I make it I'll never go back if I get the same results as you.
 Wow HODL! Love this 💪

Not worth it. Even just a little.
When I realized alcohol was effecting me even when I wasn’t drinking that’s when I had to reexamine my relationship to it.
 It’s a sneaky one
 4,577 days no alcohol.
 Fantastic Jack...
I'm 57 days no alcohol, and 100% carnivore.
I challenge you!..🐂🤎
 Same.

I don’t really feel any different. Haven’t lost any weight. Maybe I just wasn’t drinking enough before.

🤷‍♂️
 proud of you
17 years for me. One decision that completely transformed my life for the better. Keep it up!
🙌🏼 I’m on 31 as well, feeling great
What is the biggest change you've noticed in that time?
That’s awesome! Keep it up my man! 🦦🌙
 Over 21 years.
3 years in, it's the change you need in your life.
Alcohol is the mind and spirit killer.
After a long break you also get to drink way more responsible and enjoy a good drink instead of just pouring down a beer for company.

I really feel how toxic it is when I drink more then I should, last time in holidays I had one to many and instantly regreted it

I also feel sad when I now look at the highly intoxicated youth which destroy themselfs on every given occasion until they vomit it all back out.
It's a real societal sickness here that needs to change. This change, I honestly believe will come automatically with a rise in collective consciousnes and we already see the beginning of it.

Looking forward to the hemp revolution.

(Protects against Covid, and very useful in therapies otherwise, alternative to plastic, makes soil fruitful again, clothing can be made out of it, eatable, etc etc. )

Alcohol was also used as a weapon by the sovjet communist regime against an already hungry starving population in estern europe, after they confiscate the grain and means of production they turned the superflous food, like potatoes and wheat into alcohol, rather then giving the food back to the farmers which produced it in the first place and then got starved to death

Hell yeah, I’m at like 3-4 months
 Wow!
 how does it feel?
moi, zero days no weed since late december. but in about 60 days, it will be 31 days no weed.
 thanks for the inspo, jack.
ugh 😂🤣. …🫡🙏🤗🫶
 How about coffee?
Same. did a month sober and carnivore. feeling pretty damn good.
 Well done.
 Same! Feel great.
 465 days no cannabis edibles
 5 days no alcohol..
 Feels great right! LFG 💪
@nostr.build 's birthday was the last time I drank anything, and the first in ... i dunno.. decades.
1,820+ for me. How’s it feel? No 🌲💨for about 31 if we must trade. Feels great. ☕️ is the main drug atm. 🫂 Congrats PV!
 Proud of you bro! 👊
What are you replacing that with? Interested in your answer since I love to drink wine each day.
I hope the answer is grape juice. 🤣
 🍷🍷😂
Or prune juice? It’s important to evacuate the dance floor regularly.
 🚽
Prune juice! I’d evacuate the entire floor! No more dance!

I was just thinking of the people I know edging themselves with 0% nicotine vapes after they quit smoking.

Getting as close as they can….
The “act” of smoking is still there, without the nicotine. I suppose near beer and decaf coffee would be the same?
Yeah. Both qualify as an unleaded “something.”

I’d rather be nailed to a board. 🤣
😂 Yeah, if I’m going in, I’m going all in!
 Fentanyl?
 Dude, I’m old. Never.
 100% cranberry juice.
Animal blood obviously with dishwashing water.
Congrats! I think I did about 2 years or 3 without alcohol in anything even desserts.

 good for you homie
 Same
let's fucking go jack, alcohol is poison
 I need a drink.
 Ditto ☺️👍
That's really wonderful, Jack ... was it hard for you? I gave up alcohol almost completely about 15 years or so, but still will have a glass of wine or an old fashioned once in a while. Really into teas now - my recent favorites are a black tea with blackcurrants (Eastern Shore Tea Company) and a green tea with fruits & flowers (hammam tea by Palais des Thes).
 Hold my non-alcohol 🍺
1825 days
I have been thinking about this for a long time, I feel my body needs it. Okay, I'll join you.
 heyyy me too 🫂
congrats 👏
do you have a specific goal? Like 6 months or 1 year?
You’ll never go back. It’s so great
Nice Jack! How you feeling? I quit 11 years ago….best thing I ever did for myself. Btw, thanks for all the great work you’ve done in the Bitcoin space. I’m looking forward to getting my Bitkey and having a go w it.
 Weirdo.
 incredible 🧡👏🏻🫂
So themes are getting sober Mr FBI theme?

🫧
@jack

That’s hilarious but kinda on the deviant side of themes, Jack

Don’t be an embarrassing theme
And for what themes go, people get suspicious.

Gotta love somebody, be it sunshine or rainbow, Jack.

Not a deviant theme, are ya, Mr Federal Theme For Cheats?!
Even the themed must make sense before people wonder.

Unless going for that hope everybody forgets about me theme

You soap opera
 Same 🙏
Same. Time to start dry Feb.
Angst of treason can’t be easy.

😄
 👏

Progress Report.. ? Feeling amazing ? I need to get on this train
there aren't too many situations where I can dunk on Jack. but I stopped counting somewhere around a thousand.
 Good bro.
42 for me. But no further promises, somewhat that’s been the interval in recent years.
 Wow nice
I don’t drink.. I just have an old-fashioned every few days or so🤙
Kein Alkohol ist auch keine Lösung.
 😂
 Jawohl. Everything in moderation.
As a follower of Jesus, since Jesus drank wine, I'll drink wine. Since Jesus ate meat, I eat meat. Einfach.
Some people can't control themselves around alcohol, but some people can't control themselves around junk food, card games, the opposite sex...
the red fruits have things in them that increase insulin resistance

the meat has fats in it that let you fuel on fats and reduce your oxidative load

we are all a bit different in what we can tolerate and i personally am very sensitive to sugars and never liked them and learned recently that my addiction to fried potatoes was related to sugar and it was killing me

the jesus diet is definitely all right with me :D

honestly, when you add it all up for most places and most humans eating sheep and drinking a little wine is a recipe for health
 Same here 💪🏼
 alcohol is overrated
 definitely.
I thought you didn't drink alcohol. In any case a good step to the right path.
10+ years no alcohol here 😃
Next year celebrating 30 years. One day at a time.
Well done. Keep going. Your future self will thank you.
 Same. 🥳
 It´s problem or what? 😉
 Bien, es un montón 👏👏
Quit drinking a couple of years ago. Don't miss it. More productive these days.

 #goJack 💪
 nostr:note1juen4p88ch2mjxkwchxzlh8fmmf3yry39a5nnjc7zr0d7c0pk8cq6emga7

Getting on that path myself. So much more productive without it 🫡
 31 minutes here
 Wow! Mother nature bless you.

Do you take sea sal water as Darko protocol suggests?
Thank you, @jack. Whenever I get connected to you this way or that way, I don't know why and how but I feel a deep, submerged connection with you which uplifts me to a greater energy-field. 🧡🙏💜

After reading your tweet (and Snowden's) I joined Nostr during Christmas 2022.

After you shared Darko Velcek's wordpress site, I researched him with a lot of time and then I began following his SHP protocol. I lose 5 kilo of extra eight. I feel much better. I feel blessed. 🌿🌺🌿

Thanks for sharing Jack...how did you do it?
We generally abstain from alcohol as it is considered haram.
 mad props 🫂
 Cheers 🥂

No seriously, well done! I’ve a friend who just commented that an alcohol free January gave her clarity
You will soon become a Muslim bro. .keep it up.
I will soon have my first anniversary. One of the best decisions ever!
Good for you Jack. I bet you already feel different. Proud of you Brother
Good for you Jack. I bet you already feel different. Proud of you Brother
 This is the way.....
Replace with 100 push ups a day 🔥
Wow! Thank for zap! 31 days without alcohol but with satoshi! 16 of month will be my birthday but I'll continue to stay free alcohol!
Hey Jack I just sent you a ZAP cause you deserve it for your effort. Alcohol is man's worst enemy, sports is a much better activity, spend your money with your friends or lady at a gym or workouts.
 Awesome!
 ....but plenty of Psilocybin 🍄
 well done! ;-) I'm at 365
I absolutely love that for you 🙌🏻🫶🏻and for all of us, cos we need your brilliant mind and being fully on present here now. Personally I am not a super fan of the alcohol spirit. It tends to open one up to intruding energies. It's also highly inflammatory. Probably have a couple shots of mezcal a year these days over the last decade.
I'm sorta brought back down to reality with your post here too, lol... 😅 My tendency to idealize people I respect and admire had me totally thinking @jack doesn't consume alcohol... I fully support you continuing this trend. Make it 90 days.
 Nice work. 3406 for me.
👏🏼 👏🏼👏🏼 ready for your next retreat? 🪽✨
New Year's res or full-on life decision? Congrats regardless
 You can do it!! 🥰🥰
Small nuance for cigarette smokers, they must consume alcohol. Smoking introduces methanol into the body. The protein that normally convert alcohol to glucose will convert methanol to formaldehyde, which turns tissue into plastic, which is called Multiple Sclerosis. This partly explains the heavy smoker voice. A glass a day will not keep the doctor away, but will keep glucose converting protein busy, avoiding methanol turning into formaldehyde.
did you change your npub? I have another account that is Jack...
 nope this is me
That’s exactly what a bot would say.

Checkmate atheist! 🤣
now do one year with ether
 -n then u will c
 indeed. quite like.
Me not drinking alcohol, I have to slow down on my cannabis usage! 😑
 I'm with you, boss
 2900 pushups in February
 Let's gooo!! 🔥

 Certified time preference moment
Me trying to kick soda habit in 2007. Lasted 40+ days into the new year then decided I’d earned the right to a celebratory soda. Struggled on and off the rest of the year but got the hang of it by the end. Now happily soda free since at worst 2008. I drink water and hot water. Alcohol was never a thing. Moral of the story, grab a beer to celebrate 🍺You’ll be just fine. Congrats!
Alcohol is poison! Here’s to Dry February
This is a great decision ✌️✨
45 years no heroin, also no glue sniffing!! 🤟
Congrats bud! Going for two weeks started yesterday👍
How's it going? Jack, good luck to you
 congrats!
 same!
Quitting booze is easy. I'll raise you... coffee...
Way to go! Keep it up! Was it hard for you?
