One of my favorite things about working out is monitoring my inner dialogue.

Particularly when conditions are suboptimal.

“I didn’t sleep well”, “it’s too hot”, “I don’t have time; I need to go”

My mind gives me all the reasons to STOP, with a heavy correlation with going into apnea or deep, heavy breathing.

Training the mind to accept this inner dialogue and keep going regardless of it feels very similar to Vipassana.

 Yes. I think they are basically the same idea arrived to by different means and with distinct tools.

 I noticed how when my inner dialogue goes “negative” my tongue positioning becomes a mess. It eventually leads me to stop breathing. 🤷🏻‍♂️ 
 Yeah I noticed that too 😂
So I trained myself breath at a certain peace 🫣🫣 
 Yeah, now that I have noticed it it has become a signal. “Stop. Ground. Then start again” 
 Interesting; I haven’t looked at that. Will do on the next workout!
