@33636695 More than one disaster movie - so popular in the 80s - included the fat cat character who believed his money and power would get him on the boat or plane to keep him safe. It never did. The takeaway? Blue City mayors and govs need to watch more disaster movies.
@33636695 I've thought about this, still trying to find a logical reason. One theory, their greed, and performance pay that enriches them. I am of the opinion, after the total destruction, they split town to some haven they've created. Sort of like the Island chimps of Martha's Vineyard. They really don't care what happens to the cities. I think they've been told by the WEF a plan of 15min city replacement, or some other Lie to carry forth Industrial Reset dream.
