That's my point, it's for Bitcoiners. Other people can do something else. Bitcoin is its own culture. It only needs to do well for Bitcoiners.
There is no incentive to keep working on and funding nostr for such a small small small amount of niche users

No, just that they aren't part of our culture. Just like Asians are not south Americans or Christians are not Muslims. Just like people who use accept dollars don't want euros and people who accept euros don't want yen. Culture is formed primarily around three things in my mind, morals/ethics, money, and location. Bitcoin has the morals/ethics (running nodes), the money, and Nostr is the location for Bitcoiners to develop cultural capital.

Hopium is great and all, but realistically, i think nostr can't be used for more than posting notes by no coiners. Nostr "clicks" if the person is somewhat familiar with cryptocurrency already...that's how all of us got here too... Then, once here on nostr your guided towards bitcoin naturally due to zaps. I'm finding no coiner people I purple pill are not wanting to go through nosrs learning curve as they find it way to much information to process, while folks that have dabbled in any sort of cryptocurrency, understand getting through these types of digital learning curves. I think we are working a bit backwards thinking that the purple pill helps the orangepill go down. It's not; Fix social media Fix the world Its; Fix the money Fix the world Thus, I think we should be focusing on teaching people globally that make under $50k/yr about bitcoin as these are the people who need bitcoin the most. Not to mention it's also the largest group of people globally. This is how bitcoin wins and becomes the money we want it to be and know it could be, not by getting a bunch of people here on nostr expressing their opinions overloaded with all this new information while having 5 other socials and a real life to maintain as they can't afford food even working 5days/week... Financial security affords people the time and peace of mind. Stress and information overload turn people away.

Using #Nostr without #Zaps as a #Nocoiner isn't groundbreaking. However, since every Nocoiner is a potential Precoiner, it's only a matter of time until our happy purple place goes mainstream. Let's enjoy it to the fullest in the meantime. #grownostr
