 I think that some of that comes down to the fact nostr was conceived and is mainly being developed by people from the bitcoin community. And as a result, the largest group of people on nostr are bitcoiners. Doesn't help that many "normies" think that bitcoin=scam, so when those same "normies" join nostr some of the first things they see are about bitcoin so they nope the fuck out. It ends up being a chicken-and-egg problem caused by the fox having a field day in the henhouse. I think that if bitcoin haters can be convinced to not just join, but ignore bitcoin content altogether, we can get the diversification of content people want. 

 too much bitcoin  noise for nocoiner who dnot need any coin infact - technical stuff is all good - but  experts fro other fields have not arrived yet. possible due to 90% btc heavy crowd  

 Clearly noticed for 3months a group of 20 npubs always in some portals trending - (that even excludes jack or snowden) - not sure what algo they r using -  only know one web app where trending show frequent rotations many new npubs shows up - no name calling - just AVOIDING those echo algo apps.

Beaucoup  d'emojis pour aimer.. Cette semaine j'ai donné mon avis sur une note ouverte relative  au vote argentin et pour le Salvador . J'ai pu noter mes arguments ne passaient point... Snowder d'ailleurs sur une note remontait cet effet nostr un peu  complaisant c'est rare de voir une note sur laquelle on retrouve un esprit  d'auto-autocritique  argumentee  développée  infine j'ai cette impression que tous les utilisateurs ont le même avis ou boostent ou zappent surtout s'il s'agit de Bitcoin et Sats Sats ou anti systemes ...il y a des thématiques qui méritent d'être à la poubelle.  Un certain regard qui est mien.. Libre à qui veut de mettre sur mute.

You can literally just do whatever you want. If the people want it, your proposal probably will get adopted, if not then at best you'll just be a niche client/interface for nostr.

It probably sucks if you're not interested in _anything_ that is posted on here but then I'll give the borting anwer of: try to bootstrap the community you want to see on here. And I'd also imagine that it's a result of your own following list. Maybe there is a market for clients with the "For you" tab like Twitter has?
