 >I don't get the criticism?

There's really nothing to get since the criticism is subjective. I hold that opinion and I understand if other people feel differently.

>How is it difficult to do something new on nostr?

On your own? Not difficult.
Getting other parts of the ecoysystem to join you. Harder if you are not an infouencer with a large following. But I don't see how that related to the original topic.

>And what is wrong about being enthusiastic about an awesome protocol?

On its own? Nothing. The issue arises when that's practically all you see on nostr.

You can literally just do whatever you want. If the people want it, your proposal probably will get adopted, if not then at best you'll just be a niche client/interface for nostr.

It probably sucks if you're not interested in _anything_ that is posted on here but then I'll give the borting anwer of: try to bootstrap the community you want to see on here. And I'd also imagine that it's a result of your own following list. Maybe there is a market for clients with the "For you" tab like Twitter has?
I'm aware that I have agency to change things. The good thing about nostr is that I can also voice my discontent with the status quo, such as I did in the OP.
