Nostr is my first real jump into social media, so i don't have much to compare it to. However, I have other accounts set up now in X, linkedin, etc.

To me nostr is the most organic experience by far! It feels very much like a town square. The is no algorithm to control you.

This I feel, is the best attribute to nostr. There is nothing controlling you.

The geewiz features will come in time... However, lets not overlook what we have.

I true digital town square. This is what is what is needed to counteract nefarious forces trying to heard us into a future dystopia. 

 While I agree with nostr being special for the reasons you mention, we have to remember people come for different reasons other than what we’re passionate about. Wishing really hard for people to care about our issues won’t magically flip a switch. You can educate but that push marketing and is very difficult. It’s sales. People hate being sold to. You need something that pulls people in for reasons it’s interesting to them. Of course, you can still educate about aspects important to you. 

 We don’t disagree. It is going to happen in the right timing. Nostr is an experience the other socials do not have.  Most people can feel what is happening at Facebook etc. but just don’t know what else is out there.
