I don't know, maybe we should focus on getting at least the Bitcoin people here. There are a lot still there on x-dot-com farming likes.
If those people will really pay to view ads, would they really be a valuable addition to nostr? A lot of them will make the switch at that point for sure and the rest will become obsolete. Probably.
How high are the chances they leave once they realize they can't "farm likes" here?
Chicken and egg, yes, but some of the other issues amplify that issue.
I guess one factor is that people aren't used to constructing their follows manually without any suggestion algorithm telling them who to follow basically.
