I’M SERIOUS. STAY HUMBLE AND STOP SUPPORTING CORPORATIONS THAT DONT CARE ABOUT YOU. 😂 https://image.nostr.build/c9871437682d6bfab5fefbeccaffed95c16690234f0fa5b106e9ac0593ff6f97.jpg nostr:note1q8r3mmaawee62eaaenkt5h5j927vkc0a0sqauewgvlxhpurnm5mqtp7pk6
Freedom tech is the final tech.
 Good plan.
Twitter was okay at best in the absence of nostr. Now its of no use whatsoever.
Do that shit. Fuck xitter its peak Fiat surveillance and censorship tech. There is no reason not to just use Nostr if you understand it and what it’s replacing. Be about it.
I’m new to this and I honestly don’t know how NOSTR doesn’t already have millions more users.
The internet took a while before normal people used it as well. Our advertising budget seems to consist of word of mouth, which is probably for the best. 😉🙂
The general stereotype is that bitcoiners are not the kind of people who would be sympathetic to your cause. I'm happy to see the support you've gotten here despite that stereotype.

I think showing the world that these freedom tools work better even with a smaller reach is better for your advocacy and better for bitcoin in the long run.

I hope whatever you decide works for you, but I think we both know what is the right answer.
This is a beautiful comment. Thank you. ♥️
Funny enough, the earliest adopters of bitcoin were women who used it for charity. Fr33 Aid was one of and then a fundraiser for Thanksgiving Baskets was another. OGs, Early Adopters, and Enthusiasts were ALL generous and caring else you'd not know of bitcoin. It wasn't until after Ross's arrest and the 🌙 seekers jumped in followed by the Maxi Hodler that the ethos changed.
What stereotype is that exactly? I think bitcoiners are very aware and supportive of people pushing back against evil "elites" and the destruction they leave in their wake.
The stereotype is that we are all deeply selfish psycopaths. The news is full of stories about our psychological profile and how we only care about getting ourselves rich at the expense of the planet and every other person on it. Comical to us but I know nocoiners who believe it.

Some of us are like that, and all people have faults. But most bitcoiners are caring regular people.
 It’s seen as criminal money.

Example about how this conversation crosses over into my work. I have arguments against this.

 How would you answer ?
The classic, criminals use money. Far more crime committed with USD. I bet they breathe air and drink water too.
My Bitcoin Belle account has more than Odell in 2016 when I was banned. The three subsequent accounts I had were banned almost immediately even though I used a different #, IP, etc. When X arrived, I tried to get my account back. It has been completely deleted by Jack so no followers, posts, etc. And no, I was not allowed back. Permissioned anything can result in revoking of permissioned privilege.
I agree! I post on there but because I was never super active it’s a lot harder now trying to grow an audience there if no one sees your posts
BREAK FREE AND TAKE BACK CONTROL 👏🏼
It kinda does suck that not a lot of your followers see your content on X. Nostr’s recent sorting is much better.

I’m staying on there for the HTMX memes, but I’m cross posting to Nostr noe
 Agreed. The future starts here.
One thing is for sure on nostr, I know my account can't be deleted and if people want to read my notes they will, no matter what I say. This was never the case on twitter or anywhere else. Your social network was never yours. Even when shadowbanning wasn't a word, there was always an intrinsic threat of losing your account or your note being deleted or hidden. It's explicitly stated in the terms of service!
Censorship was never a surprise because it all is under the roof of a corporation with employees, hierarchies, investors, advertisers, protesters, providers, governments, banks, etc. The decision to manipulate content can originate anywhere and no matter where that is, it's bound to be subjective.
Not on nostr.
Yeah, shady business practices and no credibility anymore. I would stop paying for the blue check if I lost reach. That was the whole point of it.
You may want to consider SimpleX messaging for privacy DMs for persons who are willing to use it. It's more private. Be careful what communications methods you give our your SimpleX address -- in person is best.
