Oddbean new post about login | logout @8f0fb9a3 superscript 2 carries semantic meaning everyone reads it as "squared"
@8f0fb9a3 the markup actually irritates me because i'm often googling "squared symbol" to copy-paste into somewhere else, and when i try to paste to somewhere that lacks formatting, it just turns into a plain 2, which isn't the desired result. i'd rather have that be a character.
