I genuinely hoped Bitcoin was going to be the alternative system for a developing world. Things have taken a big turn and I’m now sharing a bitcoin bedsit with my worst enemies and they want all my sats. I’m weathering this part to hopefully get to the other side of this paradigm shift intact and free. Onwards 🤷‍♂️
I still think it will transform the developing world. Right now it’s still easier for wealthier people to take risk. For example, I think I’m right about bitcoin, but if I’m wrong I still have a good job and can start again without missing a meal. Once Bitcoin is widely perceived as the safe option, that’s when I’d guess it starts to transform the people who have always worked hard but don’t have access to a stable financial system.
I think the unbanked are already using it to survive, and this is collapsing financial systems also. That’s alot of people. I just didn’t see the legacy system jumping on it so soon. But it is what it is and they’ll try and co opt it
 *those in collapsing…
Bitcoin sets generational poverty on a path of liberation, but the change will still take generations to take effect.

Imperialism won’t be as potent moving forward, but the inertia remains.
Bitcoin is for a developing world.

Humanity is forking.

Even if half the Bitcoin is captured by dark forces, they will never be able to enter this new world.

 Nice take 🤙🫂🎯
Every time I’ve ever tried to tell someone who is poor about bitcoin and how it would help them, they laugh at me and say things like “I’m living paycheck to paycheck, man.” They’re third world for a reason. Bitcoin isn’t going to save them. They’ll be poor in any paradigm.
Well I’ve had success with a few but yep it’s ain’t easy
