Oh, and I was taught HOW to master the art of removing every molecule of something from a jar! I started working at my dad's donut shop diner by the time I was 11. If you wasted a drop of mayo from the jar you'd never hear the end of it. All my cousins growing up in their family's restaurants fully understand what it means to "Greek spatula" something. Get your whole arm in there and scrape! 😂

I don't know. I know my dad tought me to scratch the last bit out of the jar for himself having lived hunger after the war. I will teach my children to do so, too because it just feels right so deeply. I would feel so arrogant, throughing away a spoon full. Food is somehow intrinsically valuable even though we have plenty now. That said and seeing your dad tought you the same, I hope you still don't waste the mayo ;)

Wealth means different things to different people and invokes different images. For some, it is lavish excess. For others, it is basic financial security. Still others, it means having assets pay for their basic living expenses. Hoping everyone finds their "wealth" in 2024 🤘🏼
