It was. I had hoped it was a bad joke, but today is April Fools. What stings is if someone like her, who hung with us for so long,?decides to punt, then it’s prolly gonna be hard for newer users to stick it out. But, your point is taken, it’s past, and we need to move forward cheerfully or else sad sack juju will run everyone else off. 

 What was even the issue said to make her leave? I think she can just sign in again and it will undelete her account.  

 I do not know.  I just saw a post from her saying “I don’t think I can be on #nostr anymore.”  No context because I didn’t chase down her feed to find out.  Was hoping it was a joke.
