 I had this experience when I first came on, but with some time, I now get a lot more interaction than I used to on X. 

 Steal someone else's follow list is the best plan 

 I looked at who the people I follow are following.

Another good option is to search for the # that interests me.
e.g. #privacy #3dprinting #linux … 

 I have mixed feelings about the method but you can open a person's profile and follow all their follows, and then curate.

In the end I didn't enjoy this, and would have rathered aggressively follow anyone who seems of interest, then curate.

 Not sure what client you're on, but Primal makes it pretty easy for me to see trending and most-zapped posts, which is a great way to see what's in the zeitgeist. 

 Its up to your personal taste buddy.  Pick someone you think you synchronize with, and follow all their followers.  Then remove the ones you dont like one at a time. 

No ai telling you what you should follow here.  Its up to you. 

 Follow some hashtags  

 Then curate accordingly  

 if you want more traffic look at global 

 I would recommend myself. 💪

 How do you follow tags? 

 in my nostr client i can just click a tag from a post and then prees the follow button, i can simply make a search for posts with a specific tag beforehand. 

 I find myself looking at 'trending' or 'popular' on primal when my feed feels dead  

 I started back when you did skeptic Sundays, by following anyone who replied there with anything interesting.
